B a DoER!!

     What are God's favorite Letters?  RE!  Our next step in diving deepER and Being Immersed is to become DoERs - ServERs - OthERs Minded!!  Join us as we learn how these two simple letters can "REfocus our view of faith and REnew our commitment to boldly live it out"!  

4GIVE!

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Christ forgave you."

     As we continue to study how we can more fully IMMERSE ourselves in God's word - His will for our lives; we must consider Forgiveness!!  In Genesis 50 we get to experience the Power of Forgiveness through Joseph and his family.  This is a story about betrayal, abuse, lies, loneliness, redemption, healing, and forgiveness.  Join us this Wednesday (04/18/12) as we Dive into Forgiveness and enjoy the Freedom of Letting Go and Letting God!!

     

B IMMERSED...

"Have you entered the Springs of the Sea?

Or have you walked in search of the Depths?"

- Job 38:16

     If you put a can of Coke and a can of Diet Coke in a tank of water, which one would float?  Being Immersed is kind of like this experiment; you can either be All In or just a Floater.  God SO desires our ALL!! In Matthew 6:33 He reminds us that when we "Seek First His Kingdom and Righteousness, ALL these things will be added to us!"  What is His Righteousness?  His Right Ways!  When we choose to BOLDLY follow Him, not only do we find ourselves Deep in His Blessings, but we also find Freedom!!  We find Peace, Joy Grace and Hope!!  Join us this Wednesday (04/11/12) as we race to Seek Him First!!

For the past month, we have been learning more about the Nature and Will of God as we commit to draw closer to Him.  Join us this week (03/27/12), as we consider our need for an Attitude Adjustment!  

Trust Him...

"Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart,

and lean Not on your own understanding;

in All your ways acknowledge Him,

and He WILL direct your paths!"

- Proverbs 3:5-6

     Do you Trust Him?  How would you know?  Trust is an Act of Love, a Choice we make over and over again!!  Trust, as a verb is defined as: Believe in the reliability, truth, ability, and strength of someone or something.  It's easy to trust the chair you sit on to hold you up, or to trust your car to operate with proper care; but how easy is it to trust someone to keep their word, to follow through as agreed?  Trust is sometimes like faith in that we cannot always See with our natural eyes the results beforehand!  That is why trust is an act of love; a belief that one IS reliable, honest, able and strong!!  It is my experience that to trust is the most peaceful act for me!  When I withhold my trust, I experience stress, fear and doubt!

       Psalm 18:2 reminds us that "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength in whom I trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."  Today, I invite you to boldly consider in whom you place your trust, and to join us in choosing to Trust Him!!

We Are...

"You are the Light of the World...Let Your Light so Shine before men,

that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven!"

Last week, we began thinking about the Power of Prayer in our lives, and we purposed to build our relationship with God by "chatting" with Him often.  We also began to consider Who God Is and Who He is Not.  Join us this week (03/13/12) as we consider Who We Are according to Matthew 5:14-16.

Note:  We will be visiting and playing outside, so bring your friends and dress accordingly!!
